Heritage Rescue

Each week the Heritage Rescue team tackle a museum or historic site in need of help, spending five days getting local management and volunteers organised, creating new exhibits and discovering fascinating stories behind their artefacts. Engaging with the local community, ex-Time Team host Brigid Gallagher brings in experts to show how precious objects could be displayed and cared for. When the project is finished, the public are invited into the improved space, to see all the work that’s been done.
