Making Peace Down Under
16th December 2014 marked a grim day on the Australian calendar, when a lone Muslim gunman seized a café in Sydney followed by a hostage crisis and the death of 2 hostages.
The incident sparked massive global attention as Australia grapple with its rest terrorist attack after over 30 years. With more than 400 thousand or 3% of the population being Muslims, Australia finally comes face to face with the fearsome “Islamic militancy”.
